Nawaloka Construction Company is a major player in the Sri Lanka Building industry which has been in existence for over 68 years. From a modest beginning by the late Chairman Deshamanya H K Dharmadasa in the post-war-era, today Nawaloka has blossomed in to a giant business organization and has earned valuable recognition in the building industry that could offer multi-disciplinary services to suit the client’s requirement.

 

Present Chairman DR Jayantha Dharmadasa son of the founder and former Chairman with the intention of diversifying the business further formed Nawaloka Holdings (Pvt) Limited, of which Nawaloka Construction Company (Private) Limited is a key member.

Nawaloka Construction Company has undertaken several high-profile projects in the recent past and has completed several leading projects that set the benchmark in the Country’s Construction Industry.

Nawaloka Construction Company was the recipient of the National Business Excellence Award in 2017 and has been awarded the ICTAD Excellence Award twelve times during the time span from 2005 to 2017 the latest being awarded for the magnificent project of Parkland office complex in colombo 02 & RAZAVI medical complex for cancer hospital-Maharagama.

 

The Company places great emphasis on meeting environmental standards as required by the Central Environment Authority, and we now see a way towards the Green in building Constructions, We have also taken into consideration the safety and personal protection. Further, we always maintained the quality control measures for our projects, accreditation with the ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 ,OHAS 18001:2007 and Gold award for green builder by Ceylon Institute of Bilders.

 

To meet our corporate social responsibility, the Company effectively contributes to the Society’s well being by way of funds and product donations to religious Organizations, Orphanages, hospitals and Non Governmental Organizations in the Colombo district and suburbs.
