About the Role
Ensure the final shipment is audited in a timely and orderly manner.
Overlook the issues obtained from the hourly AQL auditors which includes production issues, team issues.
Oversee quality aspects of the pilot run once the Method Study department conducts same, auditing the process, approving, rejecting same.
Ensure the quality processes pertaining to trim inspections are adhered to and solve issues as and when the need arises.
Oversee the black seal sample process from the time the Team Leader, Technicians sew the sample until it is checked by the method study auditor.
Lead, direct and motivate the team, monitor performance and provide feedback, taking steps to develop the skill levels of team members.
Ensure adherence to organizational standards in areas such as BPU, compliance standards, MOS, SOPs, health and safety and 5S in all day today activities.
Cross‐functional collaboration with knitting, dyeing, and production teams.
Team coordination and inter‐department communication.
Capability to implement controls to prevent fabric with unresolved defects from moving to sewing production.
Ability to drive continuous improvement projects to reduce repeated defects, rework and inspection delays.
Monitor shift wise productivity, quality of inspection, downtime, absenteeism and pending sample status.
