About the Role
Prepare the machine requirement as per the IE & production plan whilst negotiating for better terms with suppliers to ensure the timely availability of required machinery as per technical requirements prior to the commencement of production operations.
Regular investigation on machine condition and make sure all the Sewing MCβs readiness for the operations and ensure minimum machine breakdowns align with βOβ unplanned breakdown concept.
Analyze breakdown records and actions against the day today MCs breakdowns and rectification with corrective, preventive actions.
Regular training and awareness to the team to maintain MAS standards as well as ESH requirements during operation and during change management.
Regular daily visits on the modules and check for any possible errors on utility supply, other infrastructure facilities and arrange teams of the engineering department to ensure the uninterrupted utilities for the operations.
Prepare maintenance schedules and keeping relevant records and maintain machines βLike new conditionβ aligning with the TPM methodology -AM & PM (Autonomous & Planned maintenance).
Analyze spare part stock reports & along with the Production and Maintenance team, effectively manage spare parts for the machinery whilst enabling cost saving projects through better utilization of machinery and spare parts.
Engage with new product developments and identify requirement of attachments, machine modifications, Kaizen implementations, machinery programming etc. and arrange the same as required in collaboration with MAS SBUβs and other suppliers.
Identify opportunities for improvements of efficiencies by analyzing future models & engineering support for Model reediness, Quick change over, Product handover, Product quality meetings etc.
Maintain Operation related machine Inventory including own assets and rented assets up to date.
Maintain adherence to organizational standards whilst leading initiatives such as: SOPs, compliance standards, health and safety and 5S in day-to-day activities, including MOS initiatives; PDCAs, Kaizen and other special projects within the team.
