Senior Executive / Executive -Tax

We operate in key international markets, with manufacturing facilities in Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Indonesia, and marketing offices in the USA, Australia, and Europe. In Sri Lanka, our manufacturing facilities are in the Northwestern and Western Provinces.

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented finance professional to join our Finance Division as an Senior Executive / Executive – Tax. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tax compliance activities, supporting tax-related initiatives, and ensuring adherence to statutory requirements while contributing to the financial excellence of a globally recognized organization.

Ensure timely and accurate preparation, review, and submission of direct and indirect tax returns in compliance with applicable tax regulations.

Assist in tax planning initiatives while ensuring compliance with Inland Revenue, VAT, Customs, and other statutory requirements.

Liaise with the Inland Revenue Department, external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities on tax-related matters.

Prepare tax computations, reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation for audits and statutory reporting.

Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on business operations.

Support the preparation of transfer pricing documentation and other tax compliance requirements where applicable.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax implications are considered in business decisions and projects.

Maintain accurate tax records and contribute to continuous improvements in tax processes and internal controls.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.

Full or part qualification in CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification will be an added advantage.

3–5 years of experience in taxation, finance, or accounting, preferably within a corporate environment or a reputed audit firm.

Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan tax legislation, including Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Tax, SSCL, Customs regulations, and other statutory compliance requirements.

Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as SAP will be an added advantage.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities and meeting strict deadlines.
