About the Role

Provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to patients.

Monitor and record vital signs and patient conditions accurately and report any changes to the nurse in charge / doctors.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and ensure patient safety.

Assist doctors during procedures and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are available.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation in the Hospital Information System (HIS).

Educate and support patients and their families on healthcare, treatment, and discharge instructions.

Ensure adherence to hospital policies, infection control guidelines, and safety standards.

Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver holistic patient care.

Requirements

Registered Nurse with a valid registration from the Sri Lanka Nursing Council (SLNC).

Diploma / Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital setting (fresh graduates may also apply).

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a team and under pressure.

Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Basic computer literacy and ability to work with Hospital Information System (HIS) will be an added advantage.
