Perform routine laboratory tests accurately and efficiently.
Prepare, label and handle patient samples according to procedures.
Maintain laboratory records, reports and documentation properly.
Operate and assist in maintaining laboratory equipment.
Follow infection control, safety and quality assurance guidelines.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses and other departments regarding test-related matters.
Assist with other laboratory duties assigned by the supervisor.
G.C.E. Advanced Level in Bio Science stream.
Diploma / Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
Valid SLMC registration will be an added advantage.
0–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital laboratory.
Good knowledge of laboratory procedures, safety standards and quality practices.
Ability to work accurately, responsibly and maintain confidentiality.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
